OERRR Searching for Water Creatures at Levensstrijd

In the Levensstrijd nature reserve, near Zierikzee, all kinds of animals live. Both above and below water, inside and outside the dikes. All kinds of birds look for their food here: soil animals, insects, but also water creatures. Will you come and search for these water creatures too?

Searching with dip nets, magnifying glasses, search cards and other things, we will look for water creatures that live here inside and outside the dikes. Because the water here is still a bit salty or brackish, you will find different water creatures here than in ditches or pools. Join us in the search, together with our foresters!

Levensstrijd

This nature reserve is full of all kinds of birds. It is a wet and saline area where the traces of the struggle against the water are still visible.
