RK kerk Sint Willibrordus

The Roman Catholic Church of Saint Willibrord in the historic city of Zierikzee had become too small to accommodate all the believers by the end of the 18th century. In 1842, the building was expanded and given a neoclassical façade to make it look more like a church building. In 1931, a small spire with a bell was added. In 1993, the church was restored and is now a national monument.
