There are numerous (thematic) hiking routes. From short walks that take an hour to longer distances. But they all have one thing in common: they each showcase beautiful parts of the island.
De Meeuwenduinen
At the Meeuwenduinen, you'll discover a unique natural environment featuring young bare dunes, plains covered with moss and dune grasslands, as well as various plant species. Additionally, this area is home to rabbits and birds, including nesting black-headed gulls and herring gulls. The sound of these birds is remarkable to hear and can be quite overwhelming.

Boswachterij Westerschouwen is the largest forest in Zeeland and one of the most beautiful areas in the province. Its dune landscape is hilly and features sand dunes, valleys, dune meadows, and bird-rich forest edges with diverse trees and plants.
