After the overwhelming success of the previous edition, which welcomed over 40,000 visitors, the Zeelicht Light Art Festival returns from 6 to 13 December 2025. Zeelicht has proven to be more than just a cultural event – it is a unifying moment for residents, visitors and entrepreneurs, especially during the darker months outside the high season. The light artworks create a stage for connection, wonder and pride, supported by strong involvement from the local community. What makes Zeelicht truly special is how deeply it resonates within the region. Locals say they feel reconnected to their surroundings, and entrepreneurs benefit from the spread of visitor flows. The festival’s strength lies in its shared creation: artists, associations and local groups work together to deliver a programme that both inspires and brings people together. The impact is also felt online – images of Zeelicht have been shared thousands of times and reached an international audience.
