Open Monumentendag: Climb the Plompe Toren

The Plompe Toren near Burgh-Haamstede can be climbed on Saturday 14 September during Open Monument Day. The monument features an exhibition telling the history of the Plompe Toren and the drowned village of Koudekerke. After a climb, you can enjoy a wide view over the Oosterschelde and Schouwen. Because the tower has very narrow passages inside, only a limited number of people can enter at once.

• The Plompe Toren is open from 09.00 to 18.00
