You are now in Dreischor. This is one of the best-preserved old ring villages on Schouwen-Duiveland with many monuments. Wander through the narrow streets of this cozy village and admire the monumental houses with beautiful facades, including several stepped gables. The large Saint Adriaans Church from the 14th century stands in the center of the village, surrounded by a moat. Around the church and the cemetery, the oldest houses form a circular pattern. With its numerous monuments, Dreischor is a protected village view.

The route starts at Museumboerderij Goemanszorg and also ends there. Dreischor was historically known for its flax cultivation. Flax is processed into linen after a labor-intensive process. In Weststraat and Bogerdweg, you can still find many black barns where flax was stored and processed. The dike water was a sea arm of the former island of Dreischor.
