Renesse is a true seaside resort located along the North Sea. Many tourists enjoy its kilometers-long sandy beaches and clean swimming waters. To experience Renesse actively, visit outside of peak season and bring your bicycle. There are beautiful cycling routes to explore, such as through the Vroongronden or to Slot Moermond. At the outskirts of Renesse lies the Transferium, a large free parking area. From here, free buses depart to the beach, village, or campgrounds, making a visit to Renesse even more appealing.

Discover Renesse and its surroundings by walking. Enjoy a refreshing stroll along the 21-kilometer coastline during robust hiking trips. Who knows, you might even spot seals during your walk. From the beach at the Jan van Renesseweg transition point, they are often visible lying on sandbanks just offshore during low tide.
