Welcome in Scharendijke
If you’re a water sports enthusiast, Scharendijke is an ideal base for your stay on Schouwen-Duiveland. Originally a small hamlet centered around the Kloosternol agricultural harbor, Scharendijke expanded significantly after the North Sea Flood of 1953 when many facilities from Elkerzee were relocated there. With the construction of the Brouwersdam, it also became a prominent water sports center.
